I just read the article on how to use the RRM to dose 5 -10% of magnesium of the calcium dose.

So I have an avast marine K2 reactor and only use limewater to top off the evaporated water in my tank.

I was unsuccessful on trying to search online on the dosage. So im asking here on your knowledge.

how much ppm calcium per gallon does a saturated limewater have. So that i can add in the approximate magnesium.

I know that limewater have a reduction of potency overtime in a reactor but i just want to be in the ballpark.

I haven't tested magnesium for a while now since my test kit ran out.

Been only doing water changes about once a month or more with reef crystals salt.

Thank you

Never mind i might have found the info back in 2020.

Looks like 17 ml of randy's diy magnesium additive per 10 Liter of limewater.

Since im not using 2 part or calcium chloride. It looks like a 10:1 ratio (magnesium chloride:magnesium sulfate) per my research by randy.

So about 6.53 ml per gallon of limewater.

Let me know if thats correct or wrong

Thank you

I don't have your answer, but I wanted to say how much I love your tank. That tank looks so much like a wild reef.
