Does anybody here keep rubble rock in the same chamber as their protein skimmer? I just ordered 2 pounds of premium live rock from GLR and I was wondering if it would be okay to put under my protein skimmer? I have a section in my refugium I could use but it’s a smaller space… another question do you all cure your live rock when you receive it/ and or have a special process you do before putting it in the tank? Or do you just plop it in the tank?

The tang will be rehomed- don’t worry

I just want to be sure I’m not hurting/disturbing any of the creatures that may come on the rock with the skimmer + ensuring the best environment for repopulation
