running dual skimmers?

what are some peoples thoughts on running two skimmers on a tank?

could be extra work, but i have seens a lot of poeple do it. guess it depands on the tank and skimmers.

i would use two different technologies if you do. say needle wheel and spray injection or beckett. different skimmers have differing amounts of dwell time and turbulence. could prove useful

I do it, one skimming wet and the other dry. The wet one is a tall skimmer and I get more dwell time but also more turbulence. The dry one has a bubble plate so the turbulence is lower and it gets some funky stuff out. I like two because it keeps the oxygen levels super saturated in the tank (plus I love tinkering with skimmers).
