Running NoPox with Algae Scrubber?

THe "risks" are the same running them together, or only solo. Dropping P to zero is the risk.
The chemical can strip P, and that might bring levels to zero, at which time the scrubber will stop growing and may also fail. I would recommend quiting the chemical and just running the scrubber, especially as you get lower levels of P.

Depends what the P is. If it's over 0.20 ppm on an old tank, then using nopox could help getting through the slime phase, since dark slime would likely occur at 0.30 or more.
If a new tank, then you would not want the nopox, since low nutrients will cause limited growth already, and lowering P more may delay the scrubber growing at all.
