Any updates? Just got the same tank! Might I ask why you chose the lighting you did?
My LFS has my same lights as I do (Radion XR30 gen 4) used in their entire facility. They have extremely good coral growth. I wanted to have that same growth, who wouldn’t!

Got these beautiful new anemones. I think they are condys. But my lfs said they are long tentacle. Not sure. I set the 2 new ones next to my original rbta. They have no problem being next to each other. My female clownfish stays in all 3 anemones all day. Its funny because people say ocellaris don’t have a relationship with condy nems, but she won’t leave it!

**Update**
New Brs Dual reactor (using it for bio pellet)
I didn’t like the white look of the reactor, so I painted it black

New white long tentacle anemone

New 7inch bta(dead, blended up by powerhead)

Nice update! I love those white nems - so beautiful with all the other color in the tank. I like your rockwork a lot too. Are those naturally arched rocks on the left, or did you glue or do a rod to hold that together? Love the height while also having lots of open space. I'm almost done with the aquascape on my 250 :) Following along!

Haven’t updated in a while. Ive been working on a controller board for all of my equipment. Ive recently setup my new apex DOS, and DDR. Also setup my new apex trident tester.
I build the controller board out of 1/2 inch ply wood

The oval hole is where the trident sits, and under is where the waste line sits. All electrical is placed in its own space under the controller board.

I then primed and sanded all sides for a smooth finish. I used black krylon fusion for all coats.

I had to actually cut and re-solder both of the main cord that connects the mp40 controllers to the actual powerhead, so I could place the controllers to the board without have to drill a huge hole.

I then painted all main plumbing with orange krylon fusion

I just used small milk bottle used for coffee as my trident waste line.

I had a problem using the clear tubing that neptune gives you free with your DOS and DDR, so I switch out them to black, more durable tubing.

I’m using ATI’s essentials pro 2-part dosing
