There is a handful of us reefers in the area. Check out 916 saltwater reef club group in facebook if you have one.Hello All. Was wondering if there were any other individuals with reef tanks in the Sacramento Area...
Are you out there?
Jeff
It's a long tenticle.I did just read some opinions that nems like higher no3 as it is a food source for them. What kind of nem? What are your parameters.
Yea that's the risk.. I've been told my tank is just too young for a nem (was about 6 weeks old when I got him) and just trying to keep the system stable and hope for the best. But yea idk if he'd make even taking it down to the local shop. He does seem quite resiliant.. seems his recovery, if it does come to pass, could take months. Any advice? Should I just keep him in there as that may be his best chance?Your numbers look good. My no3 is like at least 80 or higher. I'd have to do a huge wc. I only have 1 clown in that tank. The move might finish it off. I have a 220g that I could try to put it in, in an acclimation box as I don't want any nems in that tank. Have you asked on the forum for ideas to save it? There might be a nem forum. I could try, but want to be sure the move won't finish it off
Yea I've done that thank you tho. Finding it a better home was suggested but seems like no matter what I do odds are against him.. this will be the biggest regret of mine during beginning this reef if he doesn't make itPossibly the best idea. Post in a forum for nems. There are people here who specialize in them.
