Alrighty, I’ve tried placing this little dude everywhere, and I just can’t make him happy. His friends are doing alright, but he’s just wilting more by the day. Any ideas for tank placement? Have tried combinations of low-medium flow and low-medium light. Currently have him in medium light, low flow.

Salinity is 1.025
PH: 7.84
Alkalinity: 8.4
Nitrate: .4
Phosphate: .2

Jist pick one place and let it be....

Have one frag, i got ine small head on piece of rock. First 4 months, closed, opens a bit for a day or two.....then close again. Tried every possible place in tank, no results....

One day i give up, placed frag where i want him, and forget about it.... Another month passed, same.... Then one morning, fully open, bright color... That was abouth mont ago, now i have 10 heads, and every few days one pops up.....

Some corals just dont like to be moved, or even looked at ;)

Your no3 is 0.4 and your po4 is 0.2, are you sure about these readings?
I am. Been fighting 0.0 and 0.0 for a while. New-ish tank and few fish.

Still too low, obviously, but the other corals/zoas don’t seem upset for the time being.

The weird thing is that ur po4 is quite a bit high but your no3 is close to 0. If your other zoas are good and you do not see any pests on this frag, id just let it be and hope it comes around.
