Hello, I am new to saltwater and I have some hitchhikers from live rock. I am unsure if I should leave them be or remove them.

I'm thinking the one is a chiton from doing some googling?

Also, if I have some bubble algae forming, should I always try to remove them? Or are there any instances where they can remain?

I don't have any coral. Just 2 clownfish, 1 cleaner shrimp, and 1 blenny.

I believe you are correct about the chiton, good cuc. Looks like an astrina starfish, kinda a debate whether good or bad. I manually remove them when I see them. They can explode in population. Toss in a couple emerald crabs and they will make a meal of the bubble algae.
