We bought some mariculture corals and we found a bunch of these on them. I caught them and floated them in a specimen cup. My buddies put them in their tanks..

Anyone know if its an acro crab or something else? I can fuge him if not.

My vote is unsafe, I only really trust the white acro crabs with the black stripe across their eyes.

Looks like a small stone crab variant to me.
if it is one of those it won't stay small for long.

When in doubt, get it out. I don't trust any crab that isn't one of those bandit looking acro crabs like Pkunk said

This is a crab in the Chlorodiella genus. Good acro crabs are the crabs in the Trapezia and Tetralia genus.
