Hi everyone,

I am a firm believer in trusting but verifying with multiple test kit brands. I tested my Alk and Calc tonight with Red Sea and Salifert.

Results:
RS: Alk 7.6 Calc 430 (Alk is low for what I am shooting for)

Salifert: Alk 8.3 Calc 460 (where I would like my parameters normally)

Anyone experienced this? Neither are expired as far as I can tell. Both kits are only in the order of months old. Any advice would be appreciated.

Fair enough! Is that a range of difference that is fairly normal? I guess it is just the first time I have noticed it lol
