Salt mix cloudy 36 hours later

Hi all ive used aquamedic fish only salt to start my QT tank. Ive got a massive gyre from red sea in there as well as a jebao powerhead also big on the opposite side of the tank. Other than that, a heater and eggcrate the QT tank is empty. It measure at 35x18x18 inches. The water was at 77 temp after 24 hours raised it to 80 as well. However 36 hours in the water is extremely cloudy reading 34ppt.

What am I doing wrong why won't the water clear up? Do I need to add something else in there?

Edit: ive got a seperate unused seachem tidal HOB that im planning on using for my coral QT. However other than the foam it doesn't have any filter media in it as its seeding in my DT. Ive just added this to my fish QT for some surface agitation as both my powerheards are at the bottom of my tank. Im also seeding two massive sponge filters that will go into this tank once I add the fish

An additional note my seachem ammo alert was at safe now its showing as alert. Not sure why nothing has been added to the tank to produce ammonia

Did you wash all the equipment before assembling it? Use vinegar and then plenty of RO. I don't know their salt.

Everything was cleaned yes.
Ive now added a ton of filter floss to the HOB filter. Shooting my shot i assume its calcium percipitation

Then it's not a good salt

Yes its a QT fish tank, no medication or fish added yet

Its likely precipitation from increasing the temperature on freshly mixed water. It should clear on its own

Update.. fleece filter seems to be doing the trick. Still not completely clear but definitely better

I don't think so... since it's just fish, I think that salt is fine too. For the ammonia, put some zeolite in the filter.

Its empty though not sure how fish it relevant

I’d just proceed. A little cloudiness isn’t a problem in this situation, IMO.
