Salt Mixing

Hey guys, I just wanted to know when mixing salt, should you use a lid to cover the bucket when the salt is mixing? I use Red Sea coral pro salt and mix for 2 hours (I make the salt the day of water change). I always used a lid to cover it but I’m not sure. Please help!

It's up to you. I have cats and a dog so I use a lid to keep their fur out of the bucket.

You might get faster oxygenation with the lid off.
