I am new to APEX just set up DEC 23rd. The Salt reading continually drops. Whats happening is that started at a little above 32, in a days time it will drop down below 30. Now of course the salt in my tank is not fluctuating like this but the APEX says it is. I have double checked with Refractometer.
Daily it will drop and I go to tank and remove it from the probe holder and shake it in the tank water vigorously and it immediately climbs back up to above 32. If you look at the graph the straight up spike are when I shake the probe. Any idea why this is happening?

Brad thanks for that link. This does not appear to be my issue. Although I did see in that thread that they need to settle in for a week so I will give it some time and see what happens. See below graph with temp and salinity.

That looks like micro bubble issue. As bubbles collect on the probe, readings drop. Bubble grows as it collects more and more smaller ones and finally pops off. Readings suddenly jump up.
