Hi I what to make my own salt water for my tank can someone answer my question please
Do you get the RO water to the same temperature as the tank water before you add the salt ? Or do you just add the salt to the RO water at room temperature then when the salt is all gone and it’s right you can just add it to your tank ? Just need some advice on how to do it right.

u get the ro water, measure out the salt, put salt in, COMPLETELY dissolve, heat it up, check salinity, then water change if needed

I add the salt once I am done making the water and have the pump running and i plug the heater in and just let it sit. I rarely preheat before adding the salt

You dont need to get to tank temp before adding salt.
