what kinda crabs can I keep ? It's 3-4 gallons

Are you planning on keeping any corals or fish along with the crabs? If you are not, you can keep most kinds, depending on the size of your tank, of course! Hermit crabs, sally lightfoot crabs, scarlet crabs, emerald crabs....there are lots more! Porcelain crabs can be kept with an anemone, if you want to go that way :P

I'm thanking zoas and maybe a mini maxi I want a arrow crab something that shows. as you can see there's out of the water room so they can come out the water:p

IMO you should build up your rock work....create a little pool at the top and pump water into it and then it will cascade or trickle back down...it would be awesome!

The rock I have to do that wont work :/ I got that kinda filter that doubles as a cruint maker

That looks like a terrarium or vivarium tank. You aren't planning on filling it up past the doors are you? :hammer:

This is the water level it is staying at it usta be a toad and newt tank so it can hold water

I have the same tank but the 36long wide version and i WAS gonna turn mine into a newt tank but now im thinking about a crab tank too, thanks for the idea

There was a pretty cool build on nano reef. The guy had rock (with a waterfall) coming out of his rimless nano and the fiddler crabs would hang out there. I can't find the thread though. :squigglemouth:

I know theres a pretty sweet tank on youtube that is called a lava tank I think I will try to find it
