sand mess

haveing prombles with sand in water colum think its from my fish i have some big fish in the tank just set tank up 3 weeks ago in had to put more sand in the tank will the sand become less likely to come up in the water colum after age went from 240 galloon reef to 430gallon reef i have had other tanks but not this promble before:sure::sure:

If sand is in your water column it can only be from water circulation, a fish or large shrimp such as a pistol. The circulation you can fix by adjusting your pump. The other two you can only fix by removing them. Are you using a different sand that you had in the old tank or have any new fish/shrimp that you didn't have before?
