Sand sifter help

My sand sifting starfish isn't looking too great. Arms curling. My salinity has no changed sitting at 1.023. Not sure if it's gone or any chance to save it. Any ideas?

if sand is clean it will have no food and basically starve and melt so that's a possibility? feed it
