I'm not a huge fan of aquascaping, so here's the first shot at it from last night. I had one medium reef shelf left over that I wanted to use. I figure it will look better with chalices grown over it, but right now it sorta sticks out in my opinion. I can't move it to the back wall due to the overflow, so it has to be on the sides.

A topdown as well:

The overflow box is curved and cramped on the inside so I'm not sure if that moving it to the overflow box will even work.

I could just remove it too and maybe use it in the big display or the frag tank ...

Looks great, Sara!

2 things....

1, you should have called me first! Second, that light, with the stock bulb, puts out a LOT of PAR. Be careful with your chalices and rics. I have the 4 foot version of that light on my frag tank and am getting close to 1000 PAR reading 8-10 inches below the light with the stock bulb. I changed one side to a 20K bulb and cut the numbers by about 35%.

That is a great looking tank! Nice livestock list as well. Will definitely enjoy watching it all come together. Thanks for sharing.

So the tank is placed in a corner, so no one is really looking at the tank from the left side ... so that's why I put the shelf on the left.

I left the picture on the wall in the photo just for Mr. Poletti ;)

#1 Got it!

#2, no, I am talking about the 150w HQI bulb. ( although, after re-reading the OP, I see you will be using a glass top. That should help cut back some of it)

I'll have to check the par is when I set it up and maybe I'll swap out for a 20K as I like blue ;) What bulb did you replace yours with?
