Background. I bought this tanks end of December. Saved most of the water but thinking it got too cold and killed bacteria. 125 gallon tank. So made water to finish fill up. Came with fish and anems. Black widow nems looked great when I got tank. Now they are bleached. My nitrite level was very high. I did a 40% water change and levels look good now. Diatoms formed and was ugly but now almost all gone. Looks like it had to cycle again. Trying to save anems by feeding raw shrimp when I get home from work. What else can I do? They are doing better than last week I think.

Not an expert but what lights are you using? Also im sure experts are going to ask for your water parameters

They most likely bleached from big parameter swings and poor lightning. It looks like that a standard lighting bar ? you’ll definitely want to upgrade lighting and keep everything stable

It is new. And has all different led colors. Just put on. Previous was all florescent and all colors. I'm thinking water chemistry got bad

Nem looks good but shows sign of light bleaching due to too much light. Parameters rarely promote bleaching. Loss of Zooxanthellae will and again often by too much white intensity

I changed light from all florescent to LED with many colors. Also has 24 timer from sun up to moon light automatic
