Had the conch and was a decent size for about a month or so. Past couple of days I've noticed my electric blue hermit crab climbing the conch and the conch trying to escape so I added a few new shells into the tank. Hermit stopped look at the new shells and immediately went for one and now has a new home. Few days pass and no snail Hermit interaction until yesterday. Knew that it wasn't gonna end well so I let it be. Came home from work late last night and Gary was completely eaten from his shell. Them crabs and shrimps ate pretty darn good yesterday. Nature at its finest. Lol

Sorry to hear that! :/ FWIW your conch might have had an issue. I've had large hermits and conchs live together for long time without any issues and I've had conchs die without the issue of predation being an obvious cause. I'm not saying hermits won't kill snails as they certainly can and will but I'd give your hermit the element of doubt.

Yeah but in my case... it was most definitely the Hermit crab that killed Gary the conch. Lol
