 Actually.....not so little at all! He's at least 3 inches.
While I know how destructive they can be... i have to tell you, I am enjoying him. He's such a cool little ritter! And SMART!!

i now know where his lair is and can likely get him out whenever I like by removing his rock. He really doen't venture too far from his hole in his rock at all during the day.

I did witness a murder today though. I gotta tell ya... it was kinda cool! The Mantis was in his hole, head out looking around and watching me watch him. all of a sudden... i notice a nudi < tiny one> crawling down the overflow next to Mr Mantis lair. He watched it for a moment and slowly, slowly, came out of his hole , that's when I realized how long he really was> and then he grabbed it and ran back down his hole.

If I had a tank I could set up for this guy i would. He's actually very cool. but there's no way I'm going to set up another tank right now.

Randy <or whoeve else if Randy doesn't want him> if/when I get him out, you can have him if you promise to give him a good home!

Sounds good Terri, I've got the 20L all set up and ready to go.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
