I'll try brushing the bases this time. It's not like I don't have enough brushes from the dentist/orthodontist

I have been able to use bone cutters to separate the epoxy from the frag plug but if I truly want a clean starting point then Dremel with a diamond wheel is the next best thing (behind the band saw).Any thoughts on best practices from removing torches from the base? Bone cutters seem like disaster waiting to happen. Dremel with large diamond wheel?
The torches are a little brittle, so some cutter is too stromgAny thoughts on best practices from removing torches from the base? Bone cutters seem like disaster waiting to happen. Dremel with large diamond wheel?
Back in my day...Cutters crush more than cut..so it will crush torch stems. A dremel or band saw is best
You could cut the peg off and epoxy the rest of it. That’s what I did here with the acro on the right.Any thoughts on best practices from removing torches from the base? Bone cutters seem like disaster waiting to happen. Dremel with large diamond wheel?

Love disasters. They are happy little accidents lolYou could cut the peg off and epoxy the rest of it. That’s what I did here with the acro on the right.
Get glue in the spots with no epoxyI found an even better example for you. Like I did here with this torch from SBB
I see no disaster or accidents there sirLove disasters. They are happy little accidents lol
Although my torches may think there’s a natural disaster going on in there. Look at them whipping around in the background. That’s life in an SPS tank. They have to deal with it.You could cut the peg off and epoxy the rest of it. That’s what I did here with the acro on the right.
Those torches are getting treated just as bad as your dipping practicesAlthough my torches may think there’s a natural disaster going on in there. Look at them whipping around in the background. That’s life in an SPS tank. They have to deal with it.
Let me stock up on epoxy this weekI found an even better example for you. Like I did here with this torch from SBB
You know who hates it even more than the coral? The pests! Those torches are getting treated just as bad as your dipping practices
Good point. I use the tunze stuff so it’s just silicone. But most of the others are not like that.Careful adding a ton of epoxy to the tank at once.
