73x25x30 door frame is only 28 inches wide so was about as big as I could go for now
My frag tank was my first time drilling a tank, thing was only $50 used and still made me nervous lol. Measure twice and ply wood template made it alot easier than i thought it was going to be.

Big boy like that id be a mess haha

That's going to be a great tank for open water swimmers. Any ones you thinking about?
Saving the big swimmers (Achilles, bigger tangs) for a 310 down the road in a year or two
Nothing crazy yet but some ideas:
- Triggerfish: Huma, Niger, and maybe Clown
- Angelfish: Flame, Emperor, Regal, Magestic
- Butterfly's: Pearlscale, maybe Threadfin or Racoon
- Other: Moorish Idol, Quoyi Parot Fish
- Clownfish: Maroon pair
- Tangs: Orange Shoulder, Purple, Atlantic Blue, Sailfin, Blue Hippo, and maybe Black

This was the exactly what it looked like when i did it.

Its the tear out that i was stressing the most. The thicker glass is nice, trade off is the slightest mistake.... haha.

I had the caliper out for that one.

And we all know who will be the most aggressive fish in that tank.

The modular marine overflows came with a template but the ply was extra protection and it helps pool more water which is nice
Yeah I like those, ordered the 1200gph this morning. returns I’ve done nothing but my eyes. But much easier to do on a $100 tank vs a $2000 tank.
