Wow! This is getting bad with all these scams going on. I questioned the post but your account is still very active. The other scam posts seem to be on inactive accounts. You know the old saying "if it appears too good to be true it likely is".

I was literally using it and all the sudden it locked me out. I immediately opened another account and flashed both my threads but they got one person. He paid via pp so hopefully he will be safe. I never ask for any other payment source.

@sdietz2469
I'm confused are you not the OP that posted this for sale ad?

Your entire posting history on R2R for the last year+ is just for sale threads...

@revhtree
While this was posted on my account, I did not post it. i have been in contact with rev since about 10 am. As my account was hacked.

I've been around since the 90s always in the background reading learning etc. I build systems, run them, try different products etc.

I have some decent priced items. Just never ever pay any way other than PayPal. I have people insist on other forms which I will take, but I only ask for payment in PayPal unless otherwise requested. I messaged the person they were pming and let them know as soon as I got my account back. They said they paid PayPal so hopefully they can get everything back. I'm shocked as all I got was a notification that my email was changed and it logged me out. I was like what the heck....

I am the one who got scammed LOL. Contacted PayPal and they filed a dispute for me. One thing to note is that this guy actually asked me to pay via Venmo but his Venmo account was flagged and he can’t accept any payment.

I didn’t hesitate to pay because I always turned on purchase protection via Venmo or pay with good and service via PayPal. They never let me down even if it’s a real scam

@revhtree Small feature request that can protect against this: allow seller to post their PayPal or Venmo account in their profile, and people can always reference to make sure that the payment method is one of the “verified” method. And there’s a minimum 24hour delay between when the user set their payment method and when it’s publicly available. This way, the scammer has less chance to scam anyone within 24 hours when the account is hacked.

Another update, PP resolved the case in my favor within an hour. I got my money back! PP is the way to go!

This happened to me too. My password must've been leaked in a hack and was used for other sites and a couple people got scammed. The Paypal in profile is a great idea as well as always using paypal unless meeting in person. The person who was scammed on my account I think was distracted by the price and didn't use paypal seeing as it looked like a normal thing my account would post.
