scared about my naso tang

My naso tang is new got him on wenesday afternoon and he eats mysis and brine shrimp but not the seaweed i put on the clip he has been flashing around the tank but only has stress spots and not velvet or ich for sure just wondering if stress spots are common for new ones and wondering why it wont eat the green sea weed thank you please let me know if you have any ideas on what it could be thank you!!!!!

update he is now eating both and no longer flashing glass
