Schego 220v convert to 110v?

So for the Schego 200w Heater and the Schego controller.. Can I use:
A: Plug Adapter
Or
B: Step up/down converter

from what I read, the plug adapters do not fail nearly as much as the converters.

A plug adapter is just a physical pin converter? Can you link to what you are thinking of?

For a heater, you need a step up transformer or active converter to run a 220V heater off of a 120V circuit. It needs to be rated for 200+Was well.

EXACTLY.
What you are describing would use TWO independent 110v breakers. One pops-the other will remain on

Correct. I am not sure why anyone would want to go down this road when a new 110V heater could be purchased for around $60. The cheapest 100V-220V converters I see on Amazon are around $40 and that just adds another failure point into the system for a $20 savings. Worth it??

I’ve just done a lot of research on failures, of heaters and controllers. Schego controller has always succeeded.
Anyway, I just wanted ideas. I know it’s another failure point.
