Scoly not doing well. Please help

My scoly is not doing well. Been in tank about a month and looks to be losing color around edges. New acan deflated as well. Any thoughts. Should I move up higher.

Parameters are
Salt 1.025
Temp 77
Nitrate 24
Phosphate .15
Alk 8.7
Calcium 511 trying to bring it down a little
Lights are hydra 32’s. Not sure of my par

Scolys are tough, I have a couple of them in my tank and one has not being doing well too and has lost significant amount of tissue around the edges - similar to yours.

the other one is perfect and I've had them both for almost a year.

For me, I've found they like low flow and low light. Also the less you touch it or move it, generally the better.

Your parameters look fine, as long as they are stable. You could try reducing phosphate slowly to keep below 0.1.

Agreed with good parameters. I don’t think the phosphate is an issue personally. Make sure it isn’t getting too high flow.

I had this happen a while back. I had a coral close by that was dying and someone suggested that the dying coral might be poisoning it. I removed dying coral and over time it got better. Not sure if this was really the reason but it did get better.

My phosphates are .4-.5 and have several scoly all doing fine

I also raised my scoly for 2 years with phosphates 0-.05

Do you feed yours? It’s dying and wasting away. Definitly isn’t happy for some reason. I don’t suspect it’s water parameters

I do not spot feed it. I feed pellets once a day from auto feeder and PE mysis once in the afternoon. I thaw the PE and shake it up good so that is in smaller particles.

How and what should I spot feed.

They open feeding tentacle at night. You’re might be too far gone but you should check after the lights are off for a hour or two. Mysis directly fed with a baster into the feeding tentacles. In daytime the feeding tentacles / mouth isn’t open so they don’t catch any food or eat then

Did you ever send out a ICP test ? Maybe something other then the usual is off.

I saw a post from where the reefer lost his tank to hurricane and you were the 1st on to tell them you would send them corals if they get tank back going. You seem like a great person and know what your doing in reefing.

No no ICP test. This is the 1st thing I have had a with. Honestly my hammers may be sending out feeders and stinging it. I’m going to move it to a different spot
