I would run your mh for at least 4-5hrs. I believe that is your issue. It looks like it's spreading out as much as it can to get light. Just my opinion

Ok I will try that I am having truble finding info about its water flow requirements and that of my fox coral I have an Lps softy tank and I have the flow right for most of my coral but the corals on the sand bed are hard to get happy

It should be fine..... as long as there is no tissue receding and your water stays fine... Again I have never owned a scoly....

I turned the halides on at 3:30 and he is doing a lot better thanks for the advice
