This is a quick question. Everyone know scooters and mandarins eat copepods. I have some copepods in my tank and recently added a scooter. I was planning on culturing copepods to dose. But my question is about a species I have a plethora of. Wiki says they eat small crustaceans and invertebrates. Well my refugium produces some copepods. But it has thousands of mysid shrimp. I’m guessing they can’t eat the larger ones, but does anyone have experience with a scooter and mysid. And are mysid considered a copepod when people use the term broadly here?

No. Copepods are a much smaller crustacean and are favored over larger prey like amphipods and mysis.

My target mandy eats frozen mysis.
