I have a Sea Hare. He still moves around and has hair algae to eat. I've noticed my nassarius snails are following him and appear to pick at his very back edge of his body, but not his hole. No ink secretion yet. Should I be worried?

Thank you for the info. Can anyone else confirm please? I had moved my sea hare to the sump before making my post and don't want to move him back just yet.

I put him back. After an hour, this is what I see. Is he going to be fine?

I put it back in my sump since the snails would not leave the sea hare alone and were picking at the inside of the hare.. It is giving off a bad smell. I can't tell if it's dead. The Sea Hare is still in-tact and has its color.
