Sea slug?

What the heck is this? Looks like a sea slug
Moves like a snail but got me spooked looking like a flatworm.

Is that a photo of it out of water? If so, can you post one of it in a shallow container of tank water?
Baring that...
Look up "stomatella" and see if it matches what you have.
Fwiw, flatworms are rarely confused with sea slugs, so if this creature isn't, well, "flat", it's probably not a fw. ;)

Looks like a Dermatobranchus species to me (though I can't remember which one off the top of my head). Some that look relatively similar to this that you could compare with are D. semilunus, D. striatus, and D. semistriatus.

Regardless, Dermatobranchus species are thought to be octocoral eaters - so they may eat soft corals, gorgonians, GSP, etc.

For sure wasn’t a stomatella since it didn’t have the purple and it resembled a dermatobranchus primus or albus but I’ll keep an eye on my softies make sure there’s no more. My tank is dominantly sps and lps. Thank you guys!!
