Hello! I'm upgrading tanks for my tree sponges and sea roses soon, and all this time I've been target feeding my sponges as food broadcasted hardly gets into the sponges' ostia. I currently am just dosing live phyto, and reef roids, but shoving my arm down a 2.5 foot tall tank multiple times a day can be a hassle. I am deciding whether to incorporate a wavemaker, or a powerhead. Wavemakers distribute flow throughout the tank in a natural manner, while a powerheads direct flow in one direction/area. The question is which one would be the most proficient for broadcasting food to filterfeeders?
