Hi anyone can id this seafan from indonesia? Pic under ambient light and blue led

My first guess would be that it's from the family melithaea or acanthogorgia, but I'm not at all confident. Below is a link to some reference document that might help you id.

Mind if I ask where you purchased this? I almost never see anything but Caribbean gorgonians available.

I got it from a lfs at Malaysia, Indo n Aus is quite near to us, v r blessed with more varieties of corals here

Beautiful looking gorgo. Good luck w it. The Grubes gorgo is from the pacific but most of the photosynthetic ones I found are from the gulf. Beautiful as well Definite difference in where u hang your hat.
