I would like to add a seahare to my tank to take care of a hair algae problem. New tank. How is the best way to introduce him without the introduction of a disease? Do they need to be QT for 76 days? Can I rinse him off in tank water like a star fish?
Thanks

I would look a getting rid of your hair algae by some other means. Can you post a pic of your algae problem please?

I wouldn't worry too much about a seahare introducing fish disease.
If a parasitic tomont is going to ride in with CUC, it will generally do so on hard surfaces such as snail shells.
Although a rinse after acclimation certainly wouldn't hurt.
