Have any of you fed Tangs or a Foxface garden veggies? I remember reading they can eat broccoli, or like zucchini. Like the leafy collard brassica leaves, or is it the actual broccoli crowns?
My Foxface swam away quick when I tossed it in. (Big Chicken) Not sure if my tang will go for it. Tang is checking it out, not so sure yet. Probably ticked I put something else in its tank. Maybe best to stick to seafood grown greens, but everything I grow has no chemicals or fertilizers and good bacteria in soil rhizosphere.
Instead of buying kelp meal as a compost amendment, been composting the harvested Chaeto from Refugiums after a good rinsing. Closed loop gardening. From tank to table!

Almost had the Foxface eating from my hand once, then I tried to get my zoa eating Butterfly out. Double whammy, Hardly any zoa’s, and the Foxface retreats now unless it knows it getting some frozen.

Might be a worthy experiment to use some film from skimmer collection cup and add a trace to an actively aerated compost tea with regular RO. With some trace elements getting pulled into the cup, might get the next years broccoli crowns to color up. Anyone interested in Cobalt blue broccoli?
