So I really wanna buy a Sebae for my tank but I was kinda worried as I was told prior their stings are really bad and dangerous and I have a yasha and shrimp pair in my tank and I don’t want to risk my yasha dying, although I can’t seem to find a lot of info on them I was wondering if anyone had experience with this.

Should be no problem in a appropriate size tank and your fish are healthy

What size tank are you working with and how long has it been established? What other corals do you have?

It’s a very small Sebae in a 15 g my yasha is paired so it rarely leaves the burrow untill the darker hours, but I’ve been told one sting could kill my yasha so I want to be a lil bit more careful

I personally would not do it. It does carry risk, and in a smaller tank I think the risk is higher.

I do tend to agree that most of the time if fish are healthy it would be okay, but it is not a guarantee.

I think with this size of tank and the age it will more likely cause issues. They can get big and will outgrow the tank. Additionally it will win the stinging war when it decides to move. Also the coral warfare toxins will over power that water volume quickly. So even if it’s not touching another coral, the toxins released could be deadly to anything else. You could run carbon all the time to help combat those issues. But I’d be worried in that small of water volume. Not saying don’t do it but just bringing concerns to the table from past experiences.
