Looking through some previous threads on AFR, it seems like some precipitate in the dosing container is normal. Can anyone confirm that what is pictured below is a normal amount of sediment in 1l of AFR? I mixed this with AFR powder and RODI water with a magnetic stirrer for 1 hour.

Looks normal to me. Occasionally if I see a lot of it, I'll drop my magnetic stirrer in the dosing container for a bit.

For dosing AFR with dosometric pump is it necessary to use a magnetic agitator?

You need to mix longer than an hour in my experience, but yeah looks normal and you will start seeing slightly more as it stands over the weeks, just give it the odd stir if you want, I believe it’s the minerals separating, rather than sediment as in what most salts produce.
