Setting for calcium reactor

Hi!Just to find out is there anybody using reef octopus calcium reactor here?My is RO-CR2000 and it come with a control valve ...so any suggestion that do i need to open full for the valve or just half of it should be enuff?thanks...

You adjust the effluent with the amount of alk and cal is used by your system. You start off slow and test, then you adjust the effluent accordingly.

But of course I prefer this method, it's really easy and the effluent isn't too important since it's a fuller flow as opposed to a fast drip

I mean this valve....this valve is the control of the water circulation in the reactor...so i adjust until the calcium media wont float up?
