Settings for Octopus VarioS 6 in RedSea XL425

For those that have a Octopus VarioS 6 pump ( 1 or 2 or bump to 3) What setting are you running on for a 88/90 gal tank? Tank I have is a RedSea xl425.

And you aren’t blowing sand around?

No sand blowing. I have the return line shooting across the length at top of the tank... not aimed downward at all. My gyres move the water around the tank.

I have about 4 feet of head pressure which reduces the pump slightly. I used to have it only on 2, but wanted to put a little more flow through the sump due to cyano in the sump... just never put it back to 2 since all was going well.
