The really only will pop out with more with high whites. I can talk to randy he owns arc . I unfortunately just lost hit because my phosphates dropped to much when I was adjusting my nopox all my other acros were fine so it is a more delicate acro from what I’ve seen. If I could I would have higher or like 300 to 350 for that acro but since I have a shallow mixed the most I can give it is 210 because it will bleach some of my lps if I go higher. I would give it medium to higher flow. Lol I’ve been fighting with my phosphates for over a year. When I first started tank I had way to high phosphates so I used gfo but then it was stripping all the phosphates. I eventually just only used nopox to try to control it . Having only 30gallons was tough to keep stable so I added on a sump with a better skimmer then eventually added a refugeium. This tank has been a lot of work a lot a lot of money and lots of learning. I currently do the full Red Sea nutrition recipe I dose trace elements everyday on top of ca mg and alk. When I get a bigger tank I’m gonna try a calcium reactor. The Neptune trident has helped a lot though .

Ah, good to know! Right now it's on a rack....the long spine urchin has gotta get rehomed before I can place more acros. That thing is worse than a big turbo! It seems to be doing ok so far (tank is 105 net gal, about 24" tall with Kessil a360xs - it's mid tank right now). I hear you on lots of time and money! I'm doing the Reefer Moonshine method, and so far, things are coloring nicely and looking healthy. Similar to the Red Sea color program but more specific dosing (like, drops of Vanadium vs part B or whatever). Complex but I feel like it's going to give me the reef I want. :)
