Trying to get a feel for what type of quanta i want to use. Have a 180 and thinking of doing 2 4ft light bars in the hood. If you run only quanta lights can you share a pic of your tank and what light bars you are running. Leaning towards 2 quanta pro reef crest daylight. Or 2 quanta pro og pop. I like the blue but I hate to much blue, but then I’m not sure if the reef crest will be to much white, and I don’t think you can adjust the amount of blue and white in them? Plug and play?

Is there anyway anyone knows someone from Quanta Pro and can tag them to see if they have photo combos of just the light bars by themselves and then also for say a reef crest + meso blue? I cannot find photos anywhere of just the Light bars being ran to see the coloring.

I'm my opinion I would go meso blue and use any Adjustable white light, like a hygger, or aquarium coop , cheap reef lights or whatever to adjust the color to your liking. A little white goes a long way

I've been using Reef Crest only and been loving results! Simple 20 gallon long with a single 2' bar. Par readings atop the upper rack is around 150 and 110-75 on the lower racks. No filter or editing to the photo from an iphone. Also have an og pop bar that I can update this with too if you're curious. The og pop is gorgeous!

Bump. That looks amazing with just one reef crest. Would love to see the og pop too!

Owner of Quanta is here Luca, username @Lousybreed. Best dude in this business! Super helpful. He’ll have pictures or on his instagram of others using his light. But if your going pure Quanta lights you’ll probably want a 50/50 reef crest mixed with his meso blues. I’m getting ready to run 2 of his reef crest with 2x Reefi uno 2 pro’s. (Another amazing light and person Daniel). It’s hard to find the customer service and straight up passion from a vendor like both of them offer. For sure buy some Quanta bars! FYI he does have new lights coming out very soon also! Here’s my set up. Can get pictures of lights on once back from vacation but no water yet as wife decided last minute we’re redoing the flooring downstairs so tank has to be moved until I’m done with it.

Sorry for the delay! Got back from Florida vacation and caught the Covid while traveling. Here’s a picture with 1 reef crest light on. Again tank is dry so no water to help bounce the light around.

Omg…. What did you use to make the light hanger. That is awesome.
I’m a car/hot rod guy by trade lol. So when I thought of a fully adjustable mounting set up heim joints came to mind. I also had several of it all on hand. Then I just cut out 316 stainless brackets on the plasma table and tig welded it all together.

I'm trying to decide on lights and I really like the way your tank looks! Quick question: Are these Quanta Pro Reef Crest Daylight or the newer Quanta Helix Reef Crest Daylight?

Just a single Quanta Reef Crest

Until Luca or others release the data on the newer Helix lights I’d just assume the old data on the lights. But 80-100 par increase per light bar is pretty impressive!
