Is it really worth it to try and hold on to this t5 setup. It's debatable

Something tells me I'm better off just waiting until I can get in the LED setup for a 40 breeder tank

I don’t know about you lot, but I absolutely hate winter, well not so much the cold, but the dark miserable days……

I use my iPad much of the time, and found this picture which I’ve saved as the background and screensaver, and now every time I pick it up, I can actually feel full of joy and hope for the spring/summer.

It was taken in summer whilst having a sneaky beer in the gazebo.

Try it, if you haven’t already, and no I haven’t gone mad! Lol

This is why I relocated to Florida. BTW - the Galapagos are in their warm season now. Maybe a revisit is in order!

As a side note; the maddest ones are always the ones who think they’ve not gone mad.

Lol!

Florida’s very nice I know, I’ve been a few times and can well understand why people in the US move there.

For those of you paying attention, you will recall I tried using Agent Green.

In the S650 I’ve been adding 10ml every day or so, and the phosphate as come down from 2.19 (yes!) to 0.36 today, so quiet a lot. And remember it may take a while longer to bring down because of phosphates leaching out of the rocks.

In the big house, they’ve come down from 0.2 to 0.11 today and I’ve not added to much as it wasn’t that high

I can confirm there has been no ill effects to either system, corals or fish. It just forms a smoke haze when you add it straight into the display and then clears over an hour or so.

No problem. To be honest I couldn’t find any reviews of it being used, other then general ramblings from people using swimming pool versions and wondering why they murdered everything!

So I thought it might be helpful

I got bored of changing rowaphos, although it works very well, so no issues there at all.

While I recall you employing the use of Agent Green, I do not recall if you supplied a link of the product or where to buy it. Can you please accommodate as a quick Google search returns “a powerful herbicide and defoliant used by the U.S. military in its herbicidal warfare program during the Vietnam War.” It also returns a “chlorine enhancer” product.

ATM Agent Green, rather than military grade chemical warfare equipment! Lol
