I have been counting the Lyretail Anthias over the last week and the missing ones have reappeared so I’m back to the original 7. Who knows were they have been but it was a larger pink one and a small orange one. Maybe they were spawning somewhere if pinker is male because I also have a larger pink one as well which is very dominant.

Here is a picture of my Spiny Pectinia coral:

I have been avoiding a stunning pectinia in my lfs for over a month, I have high flow pretty much everywhere, what light and flow is yours in please?
Hi Simon
My system has high flow and as a guide it has the main return and then 4 rear circulation pumps with nozzles into the display.

The Pectinia is in the centre of the tank in the sand. It’s not being blasted with water but it certainly has flow. My lights run mainly on full power and it’s doing fine.

They are stunning corals but when I first saw it in the shop pointed out by the owner I thought ‘so what’. But then he changed the lights and it was like wow! Hence I purchased it straight away and it wasn’t cheap at about £125 I think.

It’s currently snowing in the U.K. so as I can’t go and hit my little white ball in different directions I’m extremely bored.

So I thought I’ll go and play with my fish!
