You are a lucky man! Also hope you kick your cancers butt! I know how ****** chemo and its side effects can be, stay strong!I'm lucky the wife doesn't touch the tank but loves it and hitting stores n swaps. She was upset I didn't get a 125 gallon tank couple weeks ago when I had a chance to for 75 dollars. I passed not wanting her and the older kids mad I'm always spending money on the hobby. Had to promise to jump next time I find a deal like that or I'm going to be in real trouble she said lol. She's one who pushed me to get back into the hobby now my cancer is more stable again n study chemo has less away from home time as previous treatment did.
I thought of that but the apartment is pretty small and I just do not think there would be room for it. So are HoB skimmers worth it?Would they be open to a remote sump? Like place the sump X amount of feet away from the tank to distribute the weight load?
Eyesore?! Your tank is amazing!!!!!Could be worse. I do HOB on a 41 Fluval, and I don't find it to be that much of an eyesore.

Just keep what's inside the tank looking bright and colorful. That'll attract the eyes more than anything.
Can't wait to see what you do with it!
