Shipping fish/introducing fish

Hi all! I am upgrading my tank and will have way more room for inhabitants. I’m the past I have always just added fish slowly, no more than one per month. However with the new tank i have specific fish in mind and feel it would be easiest to order off the internet at the same time to cut down on shipping costs. But how bad would it be to introduce like 6 fish at once? I would quarantine them all

I've always added about 1 a week to let the beneficial bacteria catch up. I wouldn't be too worried with 2 a week. If you have them all in qt you could just add slowly. Keep a few in qt a bit longer.

Great question! This is going to at least partially depend on what fish and the size of those fish. Good luck!

Depends on the size of the tank. Are you going to be adding fish from the previous system or will it be from scratch?
