I have some shrimp I'm wanting to ship cross a couple states, and was wondering how it would work? I've shipped corals before but never anything else. I've got styro boxes that are 8x6x7 so it would be great for the shrimps but not sure what to do about the bags? My lfs might give me a couple if i ask nicely, but water will make it weigh a lot so any thoughts on that or how big the bag should be?

Any input would be great

Hmm...algaebarn sells peppermint (L. boggesi) shrimp in ~4 oz plastic jars, and they arrive just fine. LiveAquaria does the same with tiger pistols, but drills holes in theirs and puts them in water filled bags.

What shrimp are you shipping, and how big are they? And what form of shipping are you using (2-day, overnight, etc.)?
