Hi! My sump has quite a few of these short white soft tubes in it. I also have a few in my tank. I’ve never seen anything come out of the tube. Should I leave them or try to remove them? TIA.

I can't tell from the pics, but I have a lot of pineapple sponges in my sump that look like little white tubes with a bit of fringe on top. You might look those up and see how it compares to what you have.

They are harmless.
