I was curious if anyone knows what the soft white string formations (1) are in my sump. They’ve been there for over a year and don’t seem to bother anything. They keep to the sump.

As a bonus, what are the long micro crustaceans on the glass next to the spirorbids (2)?

Neither seems to be causing any problems.

Thanks

Those look like Micro Featherduster tubes.

Thanks. That’s good. I assume you mean the tubes on the glass. Any thoughts on the stringy stuff on the sponge filters?
