right now I have two 150GPD membranes connected in series.

I bought a 600GPD membrane to replace these two but I am also thinking about adding the first stage RO membrane to the new setup to reduce waste water like I am doing with my current setup.
Would this be a good idea?

My set up has a booster pump that I plan to set to 100 PSI to fit environment it was tested at.
If you have a similar set up to this, has it worked with no problems?

This is the RO membrane I bought.

No, do not add that 600 gpd in series with your other membranes.

I'd tell you not to buy that membrane... but too late.

bummer, why would you not recommend the membrane I got?

I haven't taken the membrane out of its box as I haven't had the chance to install the new membrane so I might be able to return it.
What would you recommend I get if I am able to return it?

I am hoping for something that would yield higher than 300GPD

Well... when I go to that Amazon page I see lots of disconnects. For instance to get the rated performance they tell you to run it at 100 psi and 104F... The industry standard temperature for membrane testing is 77F. The dimensions of the product that they provide are incorrect. In one location they claim 98% rejection, and in another they say 97% rejection. Hmm.

The seller, MOPUEHEL, is someone I've never heard of in ~25 years of being in this business. So I suspect they have simply put their label on someone else's membrane. When I go to their website - it is just a shell - https://www.mopuehel.com/collections/all with no products. So who will you contact if you need warranty service?

If you do some digging, I think the product comes from Jinan Huapai Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. - a communist China company that has been around since 2012, and they apparently don't have a website. Hmmm.

There's no spec sheet available for the membrane. Imagine that.

They tell you what the housing is made of, but their information is wrong. Hmmm.

Too sketchy for my taste... but I think they depend upon un-informed buyers not catching this sort of stuff.

We have American Made membranes of nearly any capacity you'd like. Give us a call an we can get into the details. And yes, we can provide spec sheets and warranty info on all of them!

Also be aware you don't want to run a membrane of this capacity on a residential-scale system with 10" housings and 1/4" fittings and tubing.
