Here is a link to a pic of the starfish I have, he was a freebie with my LR purchase and pretty cool, although brown with darker brown banding on the arms. My main concern is that I have read some of the serpent stars will arch up in the rock work and ambush fish. Does anybody know if this this that kind?

It is cool when I feed the LR bin he moves pretty quick to where I am feeding and will take the food right out of my hand. If I let him he will try to pull his body up onto my fingers. Initially it was cool, but after thinking about it, I am like... whoa, that is kind of agressive. Is it going to attack fish once I start stocking?

Serpent starfish

I believe you're referring to a green brittle star as the ones that are fish hunters. As far as I know, almost all serpent stars are reef safe. I'd say keep it, just keep a watchful eye for any misbehavior...

Thank you for confirming! I'll keep it. Just wanted to make sure after the very enthusiastic feeding response.
